This is a cute little bear (apparently named Wilson, by the info on the bottom of the figurine) in a sitting position reading the love sonnets of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. He appears to be a poor little bear wearing a dirty turtleneck sweater with a brown patch on the elbow and the soles of his shoes have holes. But the little red heart on the front of his sweater is still intact. The bottom says Boyds Bears & Friends "how do I love thee". Edition/pc #24E/1425. Style #2007, Wilson with Love Sonnets. Copyright 1993, The Boyds Collection LTD. He is about 3 inches tall and about 2 1/2 inches wide. Great gift for the collector. Used, but in excellent condition.
